The recent outpouring of ever-improving embedded devices coupled with the level of interconnectivity that has become the norm in current gadgets has opened up the market for a web browser specifically targeted for such devices.
ProFUSION, seeing this need, started development of a browser technology that is adaptable to the different segments it specializes in: mobile phones, television sets and appliances. Based on the WebKit browser engine and the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries, both projects in which ProFUSION heavily invests in, Endeavour provides a good fit for most of the needs of an embedded project. And ProFUSION also developed remote history and bookmark management, to not only simplify the life of the end-user, but also provide extra-value to products using our technology.
Endeavour has support for both HTML5 and CSS3. It also supports the usage of plugins, which can be provided to the user from a pre-approved list that is customer-specific.
